Cable size and cable length have an effect on voltage. All Spa Electrics lights have been designed and are sold with the correct cable length and size to suit the
performance of the light. Adding length to the cable will produce greater voltage
drop, decreasing the amount of voltage available to the light. Excessively
shortening the supplied cable will increase the voltage, making it too high and this can shorten the life of your light.
Ensure enough cable is left behind the light for ease of servicing by allowing the
light to be raised above water level.

When changing globes DO NOT touch the Halogen globe with your fingers. This will cause a potential hotspot on the globe severely shortening the life of the globe.
